I would have to go with a compact 1911 but if you want smaller these micro 9mm's like the Kahr CM9, Sig P290, XDS, M&P Shield (comes in 40) are all nice CCW options.

Hard to beat a small 1911. I really like my CCO. However, I will admit that the XDs intrigues me.
FWIW, I find .45 acp easier to shoot well in a small package than a .40 S&W.

I know this is a semi auto thread but my vote goes to a small 2in barrel revolver in 357mag.

Good power and a nice sized package but at a serious loss of accuracy usually.

My glock 30 holds 10 plus one they also have a 27 round mag for it. For another 200 bucks i can convert it to a 10mm. Id say thats alot of firepower from a small package.

I dont know about a serious loss of accuracy. True it will be a little less accurate but if you can hit center mass at 15 yards do you want a 45acp or a jhp 357mag
