Alright, here is my 2 cents.
If you are looking for a CCW, either the P229, P239 or P226. The classic series Sigs are some of the best pistols built.
I routinely carry a P226 is a CrossBreed IWB. Comfortable and unobtrusive. The P229 gives you the full sized frame with a slightly shorter barrel, many prefer that for CCW, I prefer the better balance (to my hands) of the P226.
The P239 is more compact, 8 round single stack. Flat and easily concealed, I have a CrossBreed for that as well. I occasionally carry that for extreme concealability.
The 250 series just never felt right in my hands, but neither do Glocks, so perhaps the 250 series might be right for you.
Get yourself to your LGS or range and handle them all, shoot them if possible. If it feels good then that is probably right for you.
There are some really knowledgeable folks on this forum and you can get great advice, but nothing beats personal hands on experience.
