Default Bersa Thunder owners. Any problems with ammo?

I shopped for some time for a used Bersa but found most people want more than new price for a used gun so I just bought new. I did not get whatever "extra" coverage is offered with Gander Mountain to cover warranty shipping, etc. I figure I better go fire the thing and make sure all is good before I take it apart and rework the trigger and such. Is there any ammo that will not fire reliably in this gun? It is the 380.

Don't know if you got the single stack mag version, or the wide (double stack), but I have a single stack that I have prob had close to 8-10 years now, bought it new and have fired everything from cheap fmj's to high end "personal defense" jhp's out of it with no issue, I like the little gun!

I picked up a Bersa 380 in Nickel last week. Seems to work decently with WWB, but I've had occasional misfeeds which might be magazine related. I've only put 150 rounds through it so far. Three misfeeds in 150 rounds so far.

The wife carries a .380 CC single stack mag, no problems to date, I think she is up to 8 or 9 hundred rounds so far. Mostly WWB ball and Hornady Critical Defense.

100 rounds yesterday through my Bersa 380.. Every one was perfect.

The Bersa is *really* starting to grow on me.

I have a Bersa Thunder Ultra compact 40 cal and have only run a box of rounds threw it and I did have 3 jams. I dont know if its because its new or what? Any suggestions? I was using federal ammo!

I have a Thunder 380 DLX. It came with 2 mags (single stack). One had a problem feeding WWB and some cheap Russian ammo. Sent the mag to Colorado for warrenty work, got it back very quickly and have never had another problem. I've had it for about 3 years and put about 2000 through it.
