For the price of the Bersa thunder pro $425. There are a lot of more desirable pistols. A friend bought a thunder 380 trying to resell it. No one is interested in the big 380. Bersa is not a brand that sells it's self. I would look for a brand that has a lot of fans. If you ever need to resell it you can recover most of your money.

What is I add a M&P 9c to the mix?
Bersa thunder 9, taurus 809 or Smith & Wesson M&P 9C?

We are talking with both a Bersa Rep. And the CEO of Taurus at SHOT. I will do what I can to get some Info PDF files posted for you on Both Guns. I have nothing against either Gun, and have never shot either of those models, but: Have shot the 380 Thunder, and have an SS PT-92. My S&W exp. Is with very old 400 & 500 series guns.

The bersa thunder 9mm is a much better gun than the taurus. Between the two the thunder 9 is a no brainer.

That being said I prefer the m9 beretta and xdm9 and cz75 over both those, by a long shot.
What he said. Bersa is a much better gun than a taurus.

I kinda have a slight issue here as I handled both at SHOT. The 809 I would like a bit more if the Grips were closer to the PT-92/Beretta M9/M9A1....also handled all the Bersa's on Thursday of SHOT,..their (eagle impts.) metro arms line are hand assembled 1911's in Both 9 and 45! We will have a review forth coming...
