I was very happy with my lil Bersa, until my sister took it; my sister is now very happy with my lil Bersa.

One end of the spring has to be forced over the barrel the other doesnt. The correct orientation is the end that has to be forced over goes on first. The loose end sits at the muzzle end. This is also for ppks. If a bersa or ppks is having issues 90% of the time therecoil spring is backwards or worn out

OK I spent about an hour at the gun store, 2 weapons caught my eye and I was thoroughly looking them both over, and had to do some serious considerations in order to make up my mind. The 2 was the Bersa Thunder .380 and a SCCY CPX-2. I finally decided to go with the SCCY. I pick it up Saturday.

Well, awesome is a strong word but they are good working guns-
Had a 380 for the wife & never a problem out of it but neither of us grew to love it- Traded it in on her SR9C & never gave it a second thought

Also bought the thunder post 08, and it works fantastic. 1 jam in first 50 rounds and i have put close to 700 rounds downrange with no further issues. Amazing inexpesive carry piece.

the only issue i have with the thunder plus is i havent found a good reliable way to disable the magazine safety. they just dont belong on carry self defense guns. if the mag release gets depressed in the holster your gun is disabled. without it you still have at least one shot.

the regular thunder 380's disabling the damn thing is easy.
