I did not know about the batch of 92's from both countries with the same dust cover. I was informed last year the info I stated, and when I went to my local shops, the stock they had also implicated the same info. Thanks for the additional info.

Thanks for the info. Beretta isn't a commonly discussed firearm and I really haven't put the American next to the Italian. I own sig and can honestly say I notice a huge difference between the looks and feel of my American sig versus a full German sig. I was curious as to if the same could be spoken about beretta.

I'd rather have the American made version due to that is what our deployed soldiers carried and from people that know more than me about this model say that the quality on the American version is of a higher standard.
