I have two Cougars, one in 9mm and one in .45 ACP. I think there great guns! I've never had any issues with either one on them. I had a 9mm DOA but didn't like the trigger on it so I sold it.
Yes its a great weapon. Fits my hand fantastically. Very reliable and the least expensive 9mm you can buy new from Beretta. Stoeger is a sub division of beretta.
