Before I buy 90% of my firearms I do a lot of research , read every article I can get hold of. Compared with CZ 75b, BE is better IMHO .Rented Sig P226 Baretta, 92FS, CZ, and others and was not impressed. To be honest couldn't find BE or BHP. I hope you guys enjoy the Jericho as much as I do. One more note of interest I put some Hogues on it, and didn't gain a thing.

I have never heard of that. Unless they use crap material....the design itself is arguably the strongest lock up in the business
The Baby Eagle is a CZ 75 clone. CZ took the Browning Highpower, a fine pistol, and made it better by putting the slide in the frame, and changing a few ergonomics. I have shot a mountain of +p NATO surplus ammo through my CZ 75 SP-01. Also the CZ 75 P-01(compact SP-01) is the only NATO approved sidearm available to the public and they only shoot +p pressure s through 9mm

I heard Angus Hobdel, who is on CZ's shooting team and works for CZ, say in an interview that any pistol can handle a few +p's. :-)

Don’t make much of a difference if the shot it on target, +p hit a little harder, drives a little deeper. I use them for my pistols that I keep loaded for defense. Do I feel I need them, no. Do I want every advantage I can get in everything I do, yes.

Well using that philosophy, any cartridge will wear out any gun eventually.....

These are the lugs on a CZ 75.

One set on the barrel and one set on the inside top of the slide. This provides the lock up for this particular system. As the round is fired the barrel tilts back, slide and barrel unlock, allowing the slide to travel rearward, extracting and ejecting the empty shell, on the forward stroke of the slide strips off the next round in the mag and slides closed over the locking lugs ready for the next shot. The less sloppy the locking system, the more consistent the lock up and the more accurate the pistol.
