Default Baby Browning .25 acp

i recently bought this small handgun from a pawn shop with no clip now that i got the clip the gun will not bring any bullets onto the chamber is the gun missing a part can anybody help me find a solution?

Without pictures that will be difficult. Are you sure you got the correct magazine for the gun?

A few possible causes.

Those little buggers where made in a time when HPs where not around and they tend to feed Ok with FMJs and little else. What kind of ammo are you trying to run throught it?

The recoil spring is probably older than you and rather tired. It might need a new spring to have anough power to push rounds into the chamber. Also if the magazine is old the mag spring might also be weak and not be holding the rounds correctly and they may be nosediving when the slide pushes them forward.

Lst but not least, those little guns took a boatload of handfitting in the old days so the tolerances are ALL OVER The place on fit/finish etc specially when you account for wear. You might want to try a few different mags until you find one or two that'll work Ok.

i took it to my local gun store and i was told this is not a baby but an fn pistol 1906 so ihad the wrong clip but thank you for your answers

my bad im no gun expert or anything if u read my post i been referring to magazines as clips they both serve the same purpose but ill try not to forget that there's a difference
