Default Armalite AR-24

Anyone have any experience with the Armalite pistols? Got a chance to fondle one today. Strikes me kind of like a CZ clone.

Although not a clone, they are based on the original CZ75.

I have not seen too many of those around here, so I cannot give an opinion. What is their warranty like?

I've seen them occasionally. Pretty much a CZ 75, which apart from the 1911, seems to be about the most cloned modern pistol I'm aware of. Cold War politics left CZ in a position where their model 75 was without patent protection early in their development...which is why 20+ makers have produced CZ 75 clones.

Looks every bit of a model 75 to me:

Probably a good gun, but CZ's are already priced quite reasonably...so I guess I'd figure, why stray? I have been pretty impressed with the trigger on an EAA Witness Match, however.

Yeah I agree with Sweeper, if the prices are close, why go for a clone. When will Taurus learn..
