In a single test. Meaning one example of each pistol was tested.

It is still an impressive first impression of the Arex, Rex Zero1.

I understand this also gives a good look at performance "out of the box" for both guns so they are on equal footing. Most of my pistols get a broad diet of different brands of ammo to see what they really like. My Canik TP9SA got 1000 rounds of very mixed ammo. It failed to fully go into battery on one round out of the second mag of ammo ever fired. This could have been due to the Ceracoat finish wearing in, my riding the slide a little, or an ammo issue. All other rounds to date have run flawlessly. I'd like to see a 1000 rematch, then a 5,000 or 10,000 round rematch to check, not only reliability in a environmental challenge, but for a test of parts durability.

Again, though. It doesake the Arex look pretty good. I like the placement of their controls better and having the Decocker function as the slide release as well. I really dislike the slide lock/release location on Sigs.

Yeah Im more so giving the Arex credit than bashing the Sig. I agree with you on the longevity of the pistols being very important. We all know sigs can hold up to 10,000+ rounds with minimum parts breakage. I would be curious to see the Arex pushed to the breaking point. If the Arex proves to be durable like a sig we have a winner. I'm interest in getting the combat or compact zero 1s
