I got one about a year ago mainly because it was kind of a cheap plinker. So far it's been a real good shooter. Mags are plastic and I don't care for that all that much but it has no trouble feeding bulk ammo and goes where it's pointed. I really can't complain about it.

I have a chioppa and a RIA 1911 in 22lr. Neither one was great with bulk ammo, but both were perfect with cci mini mags, the RIA also was perfect with Remington thunder bolt and cyclone the chioppa had only 1failure with thunder bolts and 2with cyclones.

I have never seen the RIA .22 1911. Is it like the Colt Ace of yesterday?

I have heard both that ATI and SIG imports the SIG so if any of you guys can nail down that mystery I'd sleep better at night.
Something Cane doesn't know about 1911's

SIG and GSG are the same pistol. The SIG has a different finish and grips. The Colt Umerex was built from a 9MM Non-Gun Walther made for the Euro market.
