Finally had a chance to take my new 75B to the range. All I can say is "sweet"! Don't know why I avoided 9mm for so long but it was a pure joy to know such a well made pistol is part of my collection now.

Thank you Czech Republic!!!

I have never been much of a fan of any one gun due to not having that much experience with them. But After everything I have been reading about the CZ's since joining this forum I am definitely looking into getting a CZ!

Some folks are deterred by 9mm, others love it. I'm not going to jump too far down the 'caliber vs caliber' rabbit hole. But the funny thing about a 9mm CZ 75 (sleek enough profile...yet heavy, performance friendly frame) is that you can get a whole bunch of shots exactly where you want them in short order. The same applies to the BHP.

For a range or HD gun, what's better than that? That's what matters most!

BTW- All CZ 75's (and variants) are available in 40sw. But that caliber does deter me to me some extent. Fine performance on the receiving end and fair enough for my budget, but not nearly as fast or accurate in my hands as the 9mm alternative. That's why I have a CZ 75b, Canik S120 (CZ 75 clone), and BHP...all in 9mm. But a do have a few 40sw's, including a CZ P-09.

It's on my list to add next. The one I shot was fantastic! Never had such tight groups at that distance(25 yds.) without trying. I could do it with my Taurus PT-92 stainless Target , but I had to Concentrate.

Haven't seen an CZ Pistols for sale locally. But, I did pickup a CZ 455 American 22LR with the 22 WMR and 17HMR barrels for $569.00 at the PX. Love it, have a Simmions Presidential in 4x12 mounted on it. Its a Tack Driver, especially in 17HMR.

Also, got a CZ 527 in 22 hornet with a 4x12 Baush & Lomb that just love shooting.
In it for $700.00 from a walk-in at a Gun Show. Older guy that said he bought it about 5 years (now 6) ago and just didn't shoot it anymore. Came with 3 mags.

I love my CZ 75 Compact. They stopped producing the satin finish last year, which is a shame.

She has a sweet trigger and is in my EDC rotation. Stoked with 147 gr HSTs or Gold Dots, my Eastern European babe rides in a UBG Striker IWB rig.

That is a gorgeous gun. I'll trade you two mini Dachshunds for it. 😳
