I'm sure it will be worth it.
Two different lgs dealers told me they were at the end of their contacts for the gun, the one who got it was on number 15 distributor before he found one. The other lgs never did. They both said the word is getting out that cz handguns are great quality for a fair price. That kinda suprises me, iirc Col Cooper said "they are the 1911 of 9mms " a couple of decades ago.

The CZ75 would be my choice all over again. Great pistol, and not that heavy. I carried mine daily until I got my SP-01.

I'm a Taurus fan. I've owned 5 of them and now currently own 3 and never had an issue with any of them. For a full size 9mm I suggest the 809 or 24/7 G2 if it's compact he wants then the Millenium Pro is an excellent gun.

I know this isn't the right thread, but I've been considering a Taurus 100. Are the Taurus autoloaders good? You like yours?

I just traded my 9mm sigma for a glock 17 ... Both are great guns IMO. Easy to clean, I could carry concealed both of them, holds a bunch of rounds and both are very reliable from what I read. I put about 500 rounds through the sigma and I've only put 100 through the gloc, no problems with either..

Definitely CZ 75. Might recommend SA or single action version. Can be carried cocked and locked. Beautiful pistol and by far my favorite shooter.

CZ 75s got me started on an in curable addiction, and I don't shoot anything as well as I do my 75B, followed by my SP-01, followed by my Elite Match 10mm (75clone). Amazing sidearms!

I would have to agree with TNBlackSheep, i own 2 Xd models, the Subcompact 9mm and the XDm 45, the xd is a great model and fits well in my hand . I also own a Ruger LC9, i have nothing but good things to say about it.
