Don't overlook this one, as I'd have to say for out of the box function and accuracy my Cougar 40 has really been a very pleasent suprise. It's quality of fit and finish make it a great value for it's rather low cost.

Do you mean a Walther P22? It's a .22 for Christís sake!

If you mean the .380 ACP it's also known as the .380 Auto, 9mm Browning, 9mm Corto, 9mm Kurz, 9mm Short, and 9x17mm.

Let's be a tad less cynical and a shitload more technical with our posts Rentacop. (Did you really give yourself that name?)

When gorknoids and I were makin' confetti two weeks ago I ran a mix of PD ammo through my 1989 BHP.
Speer Gold Dot 9mm Luger +P 124 Grain JHP
Cor-Bon Self-Defense 9mm Luger +P 125 Grain JHP
Magtech Guardian Gold 9mm Luger +P 115 Grain JHP
Buffalo Bore 9mm Luger +P+ 115 Grain JHP
All hot loads and all ran without a glitch.

Rent, me thinks you got some bum data or youíre just makiní it up!
He's telling the troof. I'm taking my .380 to the boom room shortly, and I'll try to get pics.

well, i've been trying out an assortment of handguns lately prior to my first handgun purchase..less than 300 handgun rounds under my belt so far...

tho yesterday i rented a sig p229, wanted a p226, but they only had the p229, anyway...i was impressed.

this was a rented piece, beat up some, but it was smooth and accurate. i'm a beginner fo sure, and i was able to push the target out to 60ft after warming up, and hit head and body shots(couldn't beleive it). i didnt know if i was just having a good day, getting better or what, but that is the story with my 1st sigsauer so...

i thought it would be good to hear in your ventures for a trusty pistol as well.

happy shopping!

Didn't get pix, but the .380 proved herself to be stupid accurate. It is SO cool to take your kids shooting! Daughter admitted that she needs to spend more time at the range, so I'm doubly happy.

But, the Hi-Power controls my heart in the relm of handguns.

Cane's was the first one I ever shot, and I can't get that "Smiling Bob/Enzyte" song out of my head. As soon as I took a grip, I thought "This was built for me."

I've always carried a Colt 1911 but have to say the Browning Hi-Power feels perfect in my hands, especially with a Hogue rubber grip. Always wanted one but never got one until last year when I stumbled across a used Argentine FM Hi-Power in 9mm. Excellent pistol, just excellent. I must get a real Browning someday though! And an FN.
