The .50GI Glock conversion has been around for a few years.

Don't confuse this with the .50AE, which offers 44mag type performance. The "GI" is a big, fat, slow round. I can't really imagine this caliber doing anything a 45acp won't already do, other than painfully drain your wallet.

I did a post about this a few months back. ill just past and copy info i have so you dont have to find the post

I just saw an add in one of my gun magazines for a drop-in conversion unit for Glock 20/21 pistols making it a .50 cal GI. I like the concept but didn’t know much about the round and the ballistics so did some research and thought I would share what I have found with you all.

I went with a 460 rowland kit for my sa 1911 from clark customs. Dunno if they offer it for glock or not. But it gives 44mag performance in a 1911 frame.
