Somehow I get the impression ya'll are not talking about a Military & Police Model 10 in .45 S&W?

I've had one for about 2yrs. Couple thousand round later no problems. It will however with the slide to the rear it will release forward and feed a new round when new mag is loaded. If its done hard or fast.
