I don't think you would be disappointed with the Taurus. I have carried the mill-pro in 9mm for about 5yrs& put several thousand rounds through it. It has never failed to go bang, eject or feed with all types of ammo. Just my humble opinion

You should trade that Taurus in for a lottery ticket before you use all the luck up.

I have had several 45s in different styles. Everyone of them was a better shooter than my 40. Simply much easier to control. If I was just trying to put a bunch of lead into a man sized target at 10 feet it wouldn't matter. But if I am trying to shoot a small target at say 30 yards...45 ACP. Simply no comparison.

I had a Millinium Pro in 9mm and an M-85 Ultralite. I will never buy another Taurus. If someone gave me one for free, I would sell it.

If big is what ti's all about, try a Desert Eagle .50AE
$1563
Only 7+1 caoacity, but then, how many rounds would yo have to put thru the BG's chest?
At least you could reload for 7 more.

I had an H&K USP in .40 for several years but finally sold it and went with a .45
I have been shooting all sorts of brands/makes/calibers for the past 30 years but had never owned or even fired a 1911 before.

So went with a 1911 in .45 cal
Now I have two.
I will never go back. The perceived recoil in the .45's that own are less than the H&K .40 that I used to own.

I may pick up a DW Guardian in 9mm one of these days but I do not see owning another .40 cal firearm.
That's just me though.
