I have read that the P22 is finicky like a lot of Umarex designs. My SP22, the older Walter/Umarex target pistol, is fine if it's fed good ammo. I use CCI Target. I also have a Ruger Mark III Target, 41 oz of American steel. Great shooter, great ergonomics, bitch to take down til you've done it a few times.

That add says to shake the loader full of bullets. Is it just me or does that not sound very safe?

The add is filled with out of college marketing silliness. But, it works! I'm now waiting on the mag/clip folks to feel good.

I think it works yet same way the one I have for My Ruger 10/22 mags. The shaking helps align the cartridges in the loader. No sharp edges inside, it takes a lot of pressure to set off a rimfire. My thumb doesn't complain when I load my MKIII mags, and I load all five in a row, so I haven't bought one. Loading rotary mags is a hassle, so that loaders a thumb saver!
