1st handgun
went with the Sig P226 Navy model....in 9mm
she's a beauty and I couldn't be happier.
(that target was 7m for the most part, and at 10m for the last 20 rounds)
time to concentrate on the skills while the cash residual builds up....and this finely engineered metal should put most of the error on the shooter

Are you using a double hand grip or are you shooting one handed.
Either way, that is one dead perp.

Thanks, yes, all double handed, i'm truly a beginner with the handguns, tho i think i have improved a little since i've been going shooting close to once a week.

A very nice and very accurate "starter" gun you got there. Sigs are capable of one ragged hole at those distances so if you do your part - that gun will perform...

so far i have more trouble getting 15 rounds in the magazine than anything else

Wow! That is one nice first pistol. Good for you! It took me 15 years of pistols to finally get a Sig. Now you will want more Sigs. I've got several now.

The Sig was the first pistol I ever bought for myself.
I bought a P229 ( or was it a P228? - I can't remember since I found the 1911 platform ) in .40 SW and I carried that pistol for about 10 years.
Never had a problem no matter what I fed that thing. It always performed well and always put rounds downrange without incident. I have no megative comments about the Sig line of pistols based on my personal experience.
I hope yours serves you as well as mine has served me.
