Default The 10 mm auto.

I have heard some great things about this round, but my experience shooting it is very, very limited. I am interested in the round and I might be buying a delta elite. Anybody have any 10mm experience?

Recently picked up a glock 20. Love it.
The round is great although a bit expensive. I'm running 155 grn hp's pushing around 500 fpe.

Robocop10mm is THE guy when it comes to the 10mm round as far as I know. He has been pimping that hand cannon since 2008, at least.

I like the 10mm round. I have shot it in several platforms and it performs really well, though recoil is definitely a consideration.

The round is expensive, unless you reload. Then it's about on par with other handgun rounds out there.

It's going to take a little getting used too, but it will definitely get the bad guys' attention when you touch that thing off in their direction.

There's a video of a Team Glock guy dropping a huge buck at about 30 yards, perfect shot placement and the Buck was dead before he hit the ground, no running just POW* fell over, I've never shot that round but after seeing that, I'd jump at the chance.

10mm makes perfect sense...

...if you're a ballistics-enthused reloader
...or if you've got a deep enough wallet to toy around with it 'just because'
...or if you want something like a G20 for a reasonably light, hi-cap, hi-power woods gun

Maybe someday for me. There's plenty to like about it, but most of the reasons fall into one of the three categories above. If someone falls into any one of them, I'd see zero reason to deter them. And if you don't, I'd at least suggest thinking it over carefully.

Id want a 10mm over a 40 any day of the week... I have a 9mm and a 45 acp now and have been thinking about a 40 but the 10 just makes more sense to me.

I've been running 10mm since 2001.

Glock 20 and Kimber Stainless Target II.

I've run at least 7000 rounds through the glock. It was my IDPA gun for a few years.

10mm is the ultimate pistol caliber, 15+1 in the g20. Easy to get high velocity. Easy to get brute power. And its too big for sissy hands...

Why do you feel it necessary to list your guns?

I resent that last remark. I love my g20 and have sissy hands. Lol

The 10mm is a little harder on handguns than the .45, but....

I still have one and love it.
I used to shoot one in competition. Put over 10000 rounds through it. My load had a 180 SWC going at approx 1000 FPS. (and this was back around the mid to late 1980's)

I carry a g20 a good bit and the only drawback is the price of range ammo for sure, sd ammo is expensive as well but look at the logic the 35-50 dollars you spend for a box of good stuff is nothing compared to the value you the lives you defend with it! So why not carry a true manstopper its worth the cost!
