I don't really want to be legislated into a felon. Me picking up and moving is just less tax revenue for them. That's one way of showing them what we think of the way they legislate. Look at California. They are having a mass exodus cause people are sick of the political climate there.

It completely baffles me how a person can be so stupid to think taking guns and ammuniation away from people will keep criminals and the mentally deranged from getting illegal firearms.

When was this suppose to be reviewed? It has been at least 2 months now (I've been busy and not been viewing this forum lately, so I just saw this) and I have just now heard about it. I'm guessing it didn't go through, but it amazes me they present it knowing at a federal level this failed miserably. What gets me is they know well enough that people are not going to give up their guns, how do they even intend to enforce this if it were to have passed?

I sent letters to both ohio senators yesterday. Brown voted in favor of allowing the bill on the floor and portman voted nea. His response was basically saying we have to take guns off the streets because of this years shootings and that's that. What about the good guys?

It sounds like Brown doesn't like his position in office, this certainly isn't a way to earn someones vote

I wrote portman too. Liked his response much more. Glad I voted for him too. I won't be voting for brown that's for sure.
