The lines started when the national 'frenzy' started. Northeastern Ohio gunshows are always well attended. When I went to the Niles show in fall of 2012,there was no line to get in(but I didn't get there until noon),but a good crowd inside.
Niles gunshow today, got there at 11:30 so I don't know what the 9 o'clock line was.
ARs' were down,1100 for what used to be 600-700,bulk ammo down-seen PMC 223 1000rds for $500,powder didn't exist, primers were 45-50 per brick and small pistol primers didn't exist.
I was looking for 5.45 ammo and a guy had some for $350 for 1080 when a year or so ago I could get it for $150. I told him thanks but no thanks. He can sit on it til he decides he wants to lower the price.
