There are several places not too far from you. Piqua Fish and Game, Vandalia Tactical (inside pistol and rifle) and Miami Valley Shooting Grounds (Inside Pistol and outside rifle and pistol). Piqua has Cowboy action events. Miami Valley has tactical shooting events every Tuesday.

Yep you are correct - Vandalia Range and Armory is what I meant

Sim-Trainer has some nice training courses as well as their radio show.
Vandalia range is definitely one of the cleanest and the folks are terrific. I have been wanting to check out the Tuesday Nights at MVSG for awhile. A couple of my friends want to go but think they should get more training first. I think it would count as training!

I like it too as long as it's not busy. When I was going to college in Lima we shot at the Lima Saber's range. It's a private range that one of my buddies joined. I really liked their rifle range, it went to 200yds.
