I actually was going to do business with them on a complete lower I ordered online...I ended up not being able to buy it because I misunderstood the law about lower receivers...They recommended me to send someone in because they couldn't sell it to me (a straw purchase) and were just terrible about the whole process, so I wont be going back there and I'm still looking for a good gun shop around me

There is a range in Ardsley called Police Rifle and Revolver Range. Yearly fee is $125. I am a member. The facilities are pretty outdated but the people are nice and friendly. Come on down and enjoy. That's the best place to shoot your pistols and PCCs in Lower Westchester. Unfortunately they don't allow rifles due to noise regulations. If you need more info please I'M me.

I've seen that place and thought it was police only. Can anyone join? It's only 10 minutes from my house and would be much more convenient than Blue Mtn.

It depends what your shooting there's a place about an hour away in Monroe NY indoor $17 hour it's called master class. Google them

Ok, here goes.
There's two places I can think of right off the bat.
1. Wooster Mtn - Danbury Ct. Take 84 from NY, at the mall, make the right onto rt 7 south. Proceed about 3 miles. The place is on the right. They do Trap every Tues and rifle/pistol on the weekends. I forget the annual fee, but it's modest and worth it. If you want to shoot, you must SUPPORT YOUR CLUBS AND MERCHANTS. The guys who VOLUNTEER to run both clubs are first rate! friendly and helpful. This place is strictly outdoors.

2. Putnam County Fish and Game - This place is located on Drewville Road, Carmel. Nice club offering rifle/pistol, trap, archery, hunting in season, air rifles and more. The cost is also modest. My dad is a member here. The rifle/pistol is covered but not heated.

I don't think Wooster Mt charges a membership fee. I believe it's $15 to shoot per day.

Now I'm not sure about bringing rifles into CT since they passed their abomination of a law.
