Have you seen the Andy done good commercials on tv?
Anyone else getting pissed off at the Andy done good commercials on TV lately? "NY is recovering", "20K new Businesses created by Andy", "Middle Class gets tax breaks under Andy", "pass the budget or the state will collapse", "NY'ers should rejoice over a 2% Tax increase", "Guns are evil"...
He's not talking about NY Proper, cant be. Weve experienced non of that Upstate other than a couple special interest zones like Saratoga and Albany! Rural counties are nearing bankruptcy and Andy's solution is to pass the debt on to coming generations. He promises to give us a couple new Casinos in the Catskills (That will compete with the one we have in Verona) in exchange for taking our land rights away by passing another 2 year extension of the "No Fracking" Moratorium, FOOG!
50+ counties (over 80%) have gone on record as completely against the "Safe Act", Andy says "He Don't Care". Chuckie Screwmore came in with millions for Remington in an attempt to keep them in Ilion but when the millions are gone, so will Remington!
Upstate NY is Screwed, Glued and Tattooed! Its about time we start fighting back. Im sick of Albanizers from a postage stamp sized county telling a nation of Upstate NY Landowners were too stupid to understand WTF they are doing to us- just pay more, give more and STFU.
Anyone here sick of this sh!t?

Sounds like the Hon. Mr. Cuomo uses the same PR firm as the President. All we've been hearing since '09 is how great things are.

Everytime I see these BS propaganda commercials, I feel this undeniable urge to run to the head and projectile vomit. I NY is on the right course, why is it that 5 of my county's local manufacturing plants will be closing permanently in less than a month? Why is NY's biggest export still recent college graduates? If things are going so well in NY, why have 3 villiages in my area had to dissolve, rather than go bankrupt? Why are 6 of the local school systems talking about combining districts, and 2 of the local schools closing down at the end of the school year? If I were to compare the size of the manure piles on my buddies farm to the ones that have been shoveled out of Albany in the last month, the piles on said dairy farm, with 400 head of cattle, would be dwarfed!

I know where u are, howdy neighbor, you said a mouthful! Im about 60 miles south east of you and what you say is true. If it werent for The Oneida Indians, and The Turning Stone Casino we would be bankrupt already.
Andy says were doing good, he must have a turd in his pocket cause we isnt me or any of my neighbors! Must be the Nano Chip plant and other ventures are paying off for Albany and NYC but they didnt do a damn thing for us!
He will come up for the traditional Sausage sandwich at the State Fair but were the ones getting the sausage, in our fourth points of contact...

QFT. Since I moved here in 1990, it has seemed as if Downstate gets to play, and Upstate has to pay. 23 years of living here, and I for one am sick and tired of grabbing my ankles for the NYC metro are. If it wasn't for the reservation in my area, there would be no jobs around here at all. I know where I'll be if Mario Junior decides to try and violate the Buffalo Creek Treaty again like his dad did. I will stand with my neighbors and friends to my east, as I did the last time it was tried. Between the "SAFE" Act, and these B.S. commercials, I don't know which makes me sicker.

The commercials always piss me off because I'm a New York state resident... and I'm watching them. If New York state is doing so well and my life is so much better, it seems like I shouldn't need my taxes paying for a multi-million dollar ad campaign to tell me so.
I'd consider it a pretty bad sign if you have to run such commercials within your own state.

I just talked to a friend living in California. Apparently they are running the "New York is Awesome" commercials over on the left coast too.
