True, remember the Knapp Commission in 1971? Almost an entire police precinct involved in heroin and the sale of said drug? Criminal behavior. I personally knew of several myself then. 'Twas nice conversing with you as well.

Nice try, but I was there and spent a little time with Serpico at the grand jury before he became famous. I wasn't impressed at all with him and it had nothing to do with what you saw in the movie. Your statement of the entire pct being involved with drug trafficking is BS. Try reading the old articles and maybe you'll get some real facts unless you like telling fairy tales. Also, I don't believe you knew anyone involved personally unless maybe one of them threw cuffs on you. For all I know you can be posting from Riker's Island, so maybe someone else will want to spend more time answering you. So long!

Considering the all around unfriendly nature of your state government to law abiding gun owners why don't yall move to a state with laws hat don't go directly against your constitutional rights?

Being one of the oldest states in the Union, NY's vast population and age all point to progressiveness being stronger here than younger states of much less population and younger cities. NY may be the laughing stock at this moment but try to understand that anything that passes in NY may be coming your way in the Free state your living in soon. NY does set the trends that other states fall prey to later in life, cause were "so advanced, have most of the really great higher education institutes and our diversity and culture are superior and unmatched in the nation" I know that sounds like a bunch of BS (it is) but thats exactly what they are saying in Albany right now and others will pick up that mantra trying to keep up with the NYC Joneses!

Even the mass exodus weve experienced over the last 20 years is fueling that change in free states cause thats where our deserters end up and they are pre-tainted by the nanny state complex.

Im staying right here for now and likely until I die because "Stand your Ground" is more than just a law of man; its My Law, My land, My State and My Country- no Jr. Mario come lately is going to chase me out of my own f'n home!

I am certain that NY's Current Republicrat Biparts will lead the way in gun control like they have in other FOOG Social Legislation. I also believe we will be one of the first states in the Union who's Citizens rise up and vanquish the Elitist Socialist Pigs that have put our Once and Future Great State on the brink of utter failure and send them packing like they did Rush and Tom Gollisano (and 5 million+ other taxpayers).

The statistics that make NY a Democrat Stronghold are weak at best, 55%+/- of NY votes Democrat, thats not a stronghold, thats a stranglehold that is hanging by a thread. 1994 changed minds when progressives exactly like Coumo and BHO obliterated the line that divides us by political parties and cost them all their jobs, it was an equal opportunity Bi-Part destroyer, if you voted yes on the AWB, you lost your job!

I have 2 close friends that are lifetime NY Dems originally from downstate that even with this scaled down law will eliminate thousands of dollars worth of their beloved Firesticks and Hi-Cap Accessories. They are so pissed right now that nothing short of a complete shutdown of any new anti 2A legislation in Albany will get them back "In the Dem Party". Its really tough to disenfranchise a Liberal, they generally lack any personal held values to begin with and vote the Platform every-time blindly!

When Civil rights took the forefront, most joined hands as Americans to protect the rights of all of our citizens. We did the same for Woman's Rights and Equal Rights for everyone over the history of this free nation. The word "Rights" is key to everything America and it United States Stand for and that which divides us today will ultimately unite us tomorrow!

Democrats and Republicans have sacrificed thousands of our children, parents and grandparents in wars started by Governments with Machine Guns and Tanks. They chose for us when our children would die, its time for us to make them understand that the only reason we do that is to protect our Constitution, Rights and Freedoms. If they grab this Old dog by the tail they get the whole dog, teeth and all, I suspect America is more like me than them!

The only things we have that make us anything like each other across the board is our unalienable "Freedoms, Rights and Responsibilities". Citizens rarely agree on much but most of us disagree with anyone taking our "Rights" away even if its FOOG! Just as I have faith in my God yet Ive never met him, I have faith that Human Nature and our will to survive will trump this Orwellian process sooner than later.

I ask of New Yorkers only what our Government has required of us to do when they send our soldiers into battle, stand your ground like it is a fight for your life cause it is!
