Oh I'm just an Army Civilian in contracting command although with some luck I'll be deploying with the 412th this summer. And yeah not much to miss up here but you gotta admit there is a lot of land for hunting. I'm originally from Yonkers, NY so coming up here is like a whole new world haha

....Now how did that happen?...I post at 1:54pm....the posted reply sez 6:54pm??....clock on the pc is correct...I tell ya' it's that evil twin at it again....

While it is true you must always watch your back for evil Oswego, it might also be a good idea to check your profile settings to make sure your timezone is right.

Yes....according to the DEC, Tioga county has been the "invasion point" for the feral hogs breeding/moving northward. 3 were shot last fall over to my neighbor's place during deer season. My wife saw a patch of ground they rooted up while out horseback riding around our place last summer. She has a permit..doesn't shoot much..but in light of this development, I might have her start "packin while ridin".

M1 are there any state lands or anything where they are known to be? Since this state has greenlighted eradicating these pigs I'd like to give it a shot

Well..at this point, the feral hogs are still too few in number to be count on being seen anywhere
