FYI - Just spoke to my FFL. He said that NIC checks are now taking about 2 days and by next week it should be back to "instant".

I'm also in South Jersey (Williamstown area) and practically all of the stores are out of 9mm and 22LR. I was over in Delaware and was able to find some; however, a lot of the stores there are also very low or out.

I have found the best bet is to order them online. www.gunbot.net or slickguns.com. Sign up and you'll find low prices...maybe cheap quality ammo but you'll find stuff n it will ship to your door.

I'm in the south eastern Atlantic County area and most of the local gun shops are starting to get limited quantities of ammo in. 9mm and .223 are still hit or miss, 40S&W, and .45acp seem to be getting more consistent, revolver ammo is still a bit iffy at some places, but good at others.

I'll probably endure the tourist traffic one day this weekend and take the ride up the GSP to Tip's to do some horse trading as I'm hoping to score one of those Ruger Gunsight Scout Rifles and some .308 to go along with it. I'll scope out the ammo situation while there and let you all know what they got.....

I bought a box of thunderbolt 500 rounds for $20.99at midway. FPID the deal on gunbot. It lasted all of 5 minutes on the site the. It was gone. Not the best ammo but not the worst and for less than a nickel a round not too bad.
