Yepp, ditto. Easily the 2 biggest selling calibers over the last 20 years or so. I like both cartridges for different reasons....and you cant deny that today's 9mm defensive ammo is impressive for its devastation

Is 10mm overkill for cc? Will it overpenetrate?

I like my Kimber .45, slinging Hornady XTP . Accuracy is great . ( We have trouble with houseflys around this area . )

Go to www.ruger.com to be heard ; easy way to contact your legislators .

Although I traded it in and went with the sr40c the ruger sr9c is reliable accurate and versatile weapon the ruger sr series is hands down my favorite semi auto line. I also love the fact the C's can go from CC to full size grip.

Both my SIGs, my P229 in 9 and my 1911 Nitron in .45.

The P229, theres nothin to be said, just a great shooting, reliable and well made pistol.
And that SIG 1911 is as good as many of the other 1911s I personally have shot and I've shot rems, SAs, kimbers, RIA, Colts and Taurus'. The Nitron is a great value too IMO. I bought a TacPac with 3 mags and the paddle holster for about $750.

Clips, either half moon or full moon, or two round clips, are necessary only for extraction, not headspacing. Since the Ruger Single Action uses a rod ejector, no clip is required. The ACP cases headspaces nicely on the case mouth.

in 9mm, it's my Rock Island 1911A1. really light recoil, accurate, seems to shoot well in my hand so it makes me look like a better shooter than i am

the only .45 i own is a Volunteer Enterprises Commando mark V, so that wins by default.

45 is my 1911 Citadel. 9mm is probably my Kahr CM9. But I also have a Ruger P95 that I like.
