I haven't owned very many as I am somewhat new to this hobby. I have owned Springfields, Sigs, and Dan wessons. All manufacturers have been great but the wessons take the cake for me so far.

CZ all the way!!! Most ergonomic. Supremely reliable. Super accurate. Absolutely the best guns made!

Love those Dan Wessons too.

I dont own a kahr but I have shot my dads p9 a few times. He likes it and I do too. Neither of us had any hiccups, the only negatives I hear about karh is sometimes a long break in period.

Favorite manufacturer? thats tough, to me it would depend on the purpose you need a perticular gun for, for unfailing self defence reliability got to go with Glock, for fun to shoot and decent accuracy 1911, for dead nuts accuracy, custom 1911, STI, Wilson, theres more but only shot these two, also the Sigs, XD-M Springfields are good, and for a absolute blast, literaly, to shoot at the range a S&W 500 mag, or Desert Eagle

My favorite mfgr is whoever made the gun I'm carrying, handling, or shooting at any given time. But I have more Rugers and Tauruses than others, so I guess it's a tie between them. But I also like my Smiths, Stoegers, Charters, Marlins, Savages, Mossbergs, Winchesters, Springfields, Freedom Arms', Para's, Dan Wessons,... So to make a choice, Ruger.
