Ihave recently picked up a XDM 40 and just don'tlike the feel of the trigger. i have other pistols with the same style trigger saftey oon them, but this one seems to have alotmore travel to it. When I fire a round and comeback on the trigger to release another it just feels wrong. any advice or ideas would be great!

I know the Powder River kits for regular XD's are amazing. I don't know if they make something similar for XDm's but I'd check it out...

The function you are describing is known as "trigger reset". I'm guessing you want to shorten your trigger reset so you can fire rounds without completely restarting the trigger pull action. Personally, I think the XDM .40 has a fantastic trigger. Better than my Glock 19 for sure. There are lots of trigger kits out there. Just be sure you find one that advertises a shorter trigger reset.

I almost find the trigger too quick. The gun gets ahead of me every once in a while.
