I don't wanna be shot with any caliber! not even a 22lr!

.....but if we are pretending here that I am a cop...... then I choose my situation to be - Perp shooting at me while I am taking cover behind the door of my cruiser. I choose for him to be using a .45 auto 1911 with hollow points. The bullets after penetrating the door of the cruiser will have expanded and bled off a lot of energy and thus will not inflict as much pain since I am obviously wearing my vest. after he runs through his 7-8 round mag, I step from behind cover and dispatch him with my sidearm.

I think it was Jeff Cooper who said (paraphrased) "I would rather be missed by a (.45 ACP) than get hit by a (9mm)".

Id worry about the outside chance of a hot 9mm round going through my vest, I've seen the aftermath of that happening and it was ugly. I've heard .45 has broken ribs when it hit Kevlar. So I guess if I had to pick it'd be .40.

I say all three, at the exact same time, and straight to the face. If I'm going to be shot, I don't want to remember it.
