This is a real "Sand Box" discussion. Who in the Hell would ever choose to be wounded with anything?

you didn't want to start a caliber war? seriously? what did you expect to start - hmmmmm
here's my 2 cents worth: I don't even want to get shot with a friggen' rubber band. any of those you mentioned are designed for 1 purpose - killing human beings, especially when mated with proper ammunition.

what would you rather do - drown in lake Michigan or lake Superior?
(sorry I was born a smartazz)

While I will agree with "none of the above", of the three listed I would think I would have a better survival chance by being shot with the 9mm.
None of the above any of them will kill you if hits you in the right place. But I doint think that ones more likely to kill you than the other.

At the core of his desperate firefight was a murderous attacker who simply would not go down, even though he was shot 14 times with .45-cal. ammunition — six of those hits in supposedly fatal locations

You will find that can happen with all the calibers in the post.

PS couldn't help it.

Honestly. I've been shot with a pellet gun and its hurt like heck. On the other hand, if I where to be on the receiving end of a firearm, I'd prefer the smallest caliber possible. That would increase my chances of survival and shooting back at the BG.

I was shot by salt rock while me and a friend were crossing a private field at night when I was 16.
It hurt like hell!

I assume I am wearing a bullet proof vest. So.......I would rather be shot with a 9mm.
