The secret is not to miss! Or bring a rifle.

both hanguns have a reputation of being very reliable, no question there. as to which one is better, depends on whether you want a revolver or a semi-auto pistol. really boils down to personal preference. i would feel comfortable with either one.

I will try not to miss, that's why i go to the range at least once a week. But its really reassuring that if i had to hit someone with it, i know it would take the beating.

I dig them both, and will always have a .357, I grew up shooting them (Ruger Security Six) I will never get rid of my "old wheel gun" and even went and bought an Inside The Belt carry holster for behind my back. If the proverbial $#it ever hits the fan, I'll use it as a back-up to the Glock 20 I'll be carrying on my side. I love them both, and just can't decide.

P.s. guys, Axxe, don't hate me for this...Chevy trucks rule..

aw canary, now you have gone and hurt my feelings with the chevy thing! but you're wrong, DODGE's RULE!

i personally like the 357 magnum and will have to add another one in the future to replace my last one. my current revolver is a 4" Taurus Tracker 44mag, that i really enjoy shooting. i just hope i never have to make a choice between an auto or a revolver!

Ruger doesn't make junk guns, as i have owned many over the years, mostly rifles. how many have you owned for you to make such a statement? Ruger has been around for many years, and they wouldn't still be in business if they were making junk guns.

I'll put my GP100 in an oven beside your glock any day of the week.

I am calling bull$hit on you on this part here. If you can show me a centerfire, Ruger-manufactured revolver that is cast of pot metal, then i will retract my statement.
