I like .45 a lot,my first handgun was a huge double stack 15+1 .45acp. Still got it,but my 9mm offers the same capacity and I don't have to lug it around in a duffle bag. Quick follow up shots and I'm willing to bet with hollow points whoever is on the wrong end of a 9mm isn't going to say "hmmm I bet that was a 9mm that guy shot me with" right before they keel over in whoevers house or convenience store they were robbing. It gets the job fine,with double the capacity to size ratio,is cheaper to practice with so it's easier to get the number of rounds down range in practice enabling you to become more proficient with the gun. Which in turn allows you to be able to do a lot more with that large capacity.
