While I was watching Burn Notice repeats...
 

I noticed the thumb safety and grip safety were starting to get darker from use while the frame and slide were staying the same. Now, I have a rule that I don't go near the guns internals with a Dremel, BUT... I thought I'd give my SIG a different look by polishing the Grip/Thumb safties, trigger and slide release, a la Nighthawk "Ladyhawk".

More people last year were shot with their own gun in their own hand, simply because they were watching TV while messing on their pistol...

That's not a very good practice.

BTW: It looks great.

FWIW, the gun was detail stripped and the only parts I had in front of me were the parts I polished:) I did Dremel my fingertip with a wire wheel though...

Gabrielle Anwar will have a way of doing that to a man... LOL

Looks nice brother - Looks like some love was put into the parts...

That's a mo' better way to do it... I buff & fluff guns while watching TV.
