Where can I find high quality Sig Sauer P220 10 round magazines???
Greetings all,
First time poster here. Lifetime shooter looking to find some like minded folk that love guns as much as I do.

I got a ton of questions and issues in the future, but for now... I really need to find me some high quality sig sauer p220 10 round magazines.

I have been searching the internet high and low... no luck.

I found some cheap ones but they all have bad reviews.

I'm liking these, with the plastic spacers. Sig Sauer P220 Combat .45 ACP

Anyone know where I can find them??

The one you mention looks much like the promag listed on this page:
Gunsmithing - Shop Gunsmithing Tools & Supplies at MidwayUSA

I'm lazy, I generally buy magazines from the same manufacturers as the gun, but your need is a bit more specific. Hope this link helps a little. If nothing else Promag & National Magazine could be a decent starting point.

Thanks man.

I think I'm going to try to find factory magazines.

Might have to go directly to to find em though.

I'll keep looking though.

Thanks again!

Here's some.

Keep an eye out for Mec-Gar aftermarket mags. I can't speak specifically to how they'll fit your gun and your preferences, but I have them for my P226 (357/40) and I actually prefer them to the factory Sig mags. Nice tight fit, greater capacity, flawless function.

Very good answer. When I need something to fit my Colt I get it from Colt. If I need something for my S&W I get it from S&W. That only makes sense.

I guess I'll do that.

Why mess around?

if you get them straight from National magazines go to their website and they are less expensive then re-sellers, plus they have a life time warranty so if you arnt happy with it you can return it direct.

www national magazine . net

Excepting 1911's, the only non factory magazines I use are from Mec-Gar. Mec-Gar makes a large number of the factory magazines these days anyway, SIG, Beretta, FN, S&W, Springfield, etc.......

National and Promag, and the word quality, should never be used in the same sentence. If lucky, and you only need them for play, go ahead, but for any serious work, I would not touch them. Primary problem with ProMag is the poor quality steel used in the magazine body. Lips will wind up spreading, usually sooner than later.

I found Promag not reliable enough to compete with in my SIG 220 back in the early 90's.

AS to 1911's I use, in my preferred order, Virgil Tripp's Cobra Mags, Chip McCormick's CMC power mags, and Bill Wilson's 47D's. For 9mm it is all Virgil's Cobra mags.

I haven't tried Bill's new magazine yet. Or for that matter Chips new PowerMag Plus either. Virgil's mags work so well I haven't needed to.

I do have 6 Metalform magazines that were custom tuned specifically to my Springfield Professional, but I use Virgil's magazines for competition and CCW/EDC. The Tripp's are more robust than Metalforms, although I know a bunch of folks that swear by Metalform.

My CCW/EDC Colt 21st Century Commander is only stuffed with Virgil's pride & joy.

I don't like anyone's 10 rounder much. If forced in a corner though, I would go with Chips 10 round Powermag.

Good luck.

Very kool. When did SIG start making it's own 10 rounder? It's probably made by Mec-Gar like most of the other SIG magazines these days.

Good luck.
