Muzzle flip is very minimal. Recoil goes backwards more so than upwards. It will beat ur hand up the first few time at the rang but easy to get used to. It's expensive to shoot but worth every penny.
Looks good.

I am surprised this is not treated as a sawed off shotgun by the Feds, which is essentially what it is.

But it would sure make me feel safe, yes.

Too bad it is not on the "California list."

Excuse my ignorance but what kind of gun is that? I'm guessing an AK-47. Don't laugh too hard if I'm wrong. I'm trying to learn.

That my friend is my LMT (Lewis Machine and Tool) AR-15/Evil Black Rifle/Machine Gun/Baby Killer/Assault Rifle/High Powered Killing Machine.

Henry 22 lever, CHEAP to shoot and fun.

By the way Winds, the bottom one is an AK for comparison.

Dammit!! AR-15 was going to be my second guess. You could leave out the "baby Killer" in the description of that gun, though.

I'm hoping to get a Henry Lever myself real soon.

What confuses me about the AK and the AR is the stocks are so costumized that each one looks so different. I have to learn to recognize them by the upper then. Is that right?

Well, "baby killer" is what the media refers to them as. The receivers on the AK-47 and AR-15 are quite different as well as the barrel and gas system. Most AK-47's do not use a birdcage style flash hider and have a piston system which looks a bit different than the AR-15 direct impingement system.

Well the barrel is rifled as to a shotgun is smooth bore.
