With the way stress can affect your body no that is not missing to much. For example when I was in the Army we did a drill called the stress fire, running a mile hauling parts of a an M2 Browning 50 cal and a MK19 Automatic Grenade launcher this simulated the effects of combat stress. All of us were qualified expert with the M4(anywhere from 36/40 or 40/40) and we missed an average of 30% of our targets none of which were more than 100 yds. We were only allowed to use SemiAuto very rarely even in deployment did we use 3rd burst. So with that said even highly trained and capable marksmen can miss alot under stressful circumstances AKA any time you have to draw your weapon. More rounds equals a greater chance that the threat will be eliminated.
