Ohh yeah should they buy used or not? and if so what are some good used gun websites?
I would suggest they browse Budsgunshop to get a look at a variety of handguns. I do love my cz75b, but my buddy's XD9 is also a very nice pistol.

If i had it to do over, my first pistol would've been my Ruger GP100 revolver in .38spcl/.357Mag.

Later on, when you are over 21 and have shown responsibility with your parents' handgun, perhaps they would make it your birthday gift, legally.

I AM NOT A LAWYER AND DO NOT GIVE LEGAL ADVICE. The federal rule; the state rules can be more strict.

What you are describing is VERY much illegal in Washington State. You have to be 21 to purchase or own a pistol in this state.

I would suggest you take a trip down to the local PD should you have any further questions on this issue.
