Oldest handgun...hmm.

Probably the cheapo Eibar .25 I have. No idea how old it is, but it's probably the oldest.

My oldest handgun is my Grandfather's Colt Police Positive 38 Special. I looked up the serial number once and I think it was early '20s.

I forgot about these two, probably between 1890 and 1920? Both .38 S&W cal.
On left is Empire State Arms, on right is Iver Johnson Safety Automatic, both 5 shot.

My oldest (and only) handgun is my nagant m1895 revolver. It fires a 7.62x38r nagant cartridge. It's a gas seal revolver, so the cylinder moves forward to creat a gas seal, making it easily suppressed. Mine was made in 1926. And oh how I wash it was a Tula. But oh well. It's my baby and my edc. She takes a lickn but keeps on tickn. Goes to show russkies are good at what they do!

A C96 Mauser Broomhandle;brought back from Germany.#382325
All matching numbers,including the 3. Numbers stamped on the (carbine) stock/holster. 7.63 x 25
Most likely a wartime commercial.... Late. .1916/17. The bbl. is a little dark, little pitting, considering age & use. The rifling is surprisingly sharp. Interior parts. & springs cleaned up like new. Looking to get a few replacement parts. As I plan to shoot it some before I bite the dust.
My Dad brought some other war--relics back too.(sabers, daggers, bayonets, flags, pins, badges, ornamental dueling pistol) the Mauser is my fav. 100%. Workable souvenir.

When you have one you always seem to want two.
