H&R "Automatic" in 32 S&W. best guess is it's from the late 20's-early 30's. lock up is tight as a drum, timing is perfect & nickel is about 95%. shoots pretty accurate too once you figure out where to point that HUGE front sight

Currently, it's a CZ 52. Manufactured in 1953.
Previously I think it would have been a 1875 Remington pistol.

Well the oldest functioning one is a CZ52 made in 1952. The oldest one is a Hodges and Spencer black powder revolver from the Civil War. Not many were made. It was my grandmothers seceral, several greats back from the Union Army. It's kinda rusty and missing a few parts, the grips are still complete though. Great center piece

1915/16,1911 in .45ACP.

Bought as a civilian and carried in WWI by G-father in the Army Air Corps. It's in NRA,VG condition. We don't shoot it enough but is extremely "tight" compared to A1's.Even with the "puny",by today's std. front site,it'll tear the black out of a slow fire target. It loves the H&G 68 and mild/medium doses of 231.

Oldest? Probably my Ruger Old Model Flatop 357 from the 50s---had a even older Colt 1903 32 ACP, but sold it years ago...
