Default What is a good 22 revolver?

I bought a ruger 1022 takedown and i want to put a 22 pistol in the bags pouch i don't really want a semi auto 22 because i will be shooting allot of bulk ammo and i want to limit the cleaning time and i don't want jams my stepdad has the ruger mkiii and it is a bitch to clean and disassemble I'm leaning more towards the survivalist type of 22 revolver, has to be accurate easy to clean reliable and hold 8 or more rounds any recommendations will be much appreciated thanx. also i dont like the old western look it has to be a modern 22 revolver and it cant be old school. I like double action revolvers.

I had a Charter Arms .22 LR revolver for a short time. It was so loud, I sold it to the first taker.

I own a Smith and Wesson 617 22LR revolver. It holds 10 rounds and has a 4 inch barrel. Super smooth trigger, the best I have felt in any modern 22 revolver that was on the shelf at Sportsmans Warehouse and Cabelas.

Pricey, but will outlast you. Easy to clean, and doesn't jam.

May be too "cowboy action" for you but my suggestion would be the Ruger single six.
Not double action but it is accurate and will shoot anything .22.
I prefer it for magnum.

Ruger...Pick one.

Either will probably work for you.
S&W has several as well. 617 or 317 Kit gun jump to mind.
Note: the MK3 isn't that bad once you settle in and learn it.

Heritage Arms Co., Rough Rider, it ain't sexy, it ain't expensive, it ain't going to last forever, it's just a good SA .22lr./.22 wmr revolver.

I dont like the looks of the sights. But I've heard they work very well.
The barrel looks fine to me. I recon a full lug would look better.
