Just wanted to add another vote for the LCR. I don't know much about firearms compared to a lot of people on these boards but I do know why I enjoy the LCR. I like that it is a revolver and easy for a new gun owner to care for. I love that recoil and trigger pull are so small compared to the other .38 special's I've fired. I have an old shoulder injury and after putting 50 rounds through the other guns I'd be miserable for a few days. I can take this gun to the range every day of the week and not come home sore. I like that the grips fit my hand comfortably right out of the box. It is really light weight and like cane said, it is a beautiful gun.

well just my luck, went to buy the lcr tonight and it was gone I almost pulled the trigger on the Airweight with the shrouded hammer but I figured I would wait a week or so and see if they get another one in. I really like it more and more after all of your input and reading up on them more. Plus if it has plastic in it and its got canes approval than can I really go wrong ???

ktm, hold off for the LCR!

I am enamored with this little revolver! I have been put-off with double action revolvers in the past because of the non-linear trigger take-up. Not so with the LCR.

I am also impressed with the short time it took to become proficient with the LCR at point shooting!

Wait for this Ruger. You will not be disappointed!
