Default What are the chances I will get the gun I want?

OK, so I'm getting ready to head on out to a few gun shops in the hope of finding a FN FNX9.

So what do you think my chances will be?

Slim to none

Are you kidding

Or, prepare to be disappointed

I believe you'll find one.

As long as you're not looking for an AR you should have a decent chance of finding what you're looking for.

You know, I have no idea what an FN FNX9 is or looks like. I used to be pretty savvy on guns; I knew when one went looking for a Colt Government Model .45, a Ruger Blackhawk or a Smith & Wesson .357 Magnum, exactly what kind of gun they had in mind.

Now everything is numbers that tell me exactly nothing. "I've got an M1911" tells me it is some kind of auto-loading pistol made by somebody, even 9mm pistols are referred to as M1911s. Even Rugers are LS9-XX or something of that nature.

Looks like I ought to go into hibernation.

17-round capacity? Prepare to be disappointed... $600 for 10-round and $700+ for 17-round, and you are not going to find spare hi-cap mags anymore would be my guess.

personally i would skip it for a different 9mm. fn mags arent easy to get in best of times. im just surprised the buying idiocy hasnt hit handguns yet because those are just as much on the democrat hit list as ar15.

if you got a line on a bunch of spare mags its a great gun.

I have other 9mm pistols. It's just one of those guns I have wanted.

It will join several other handguns I have been collecting over the years.

Who knows how much longer we will be able to buy them....

Here are some of the handguns I have picked up.

P.S. I was successful today!!!! I will be picking up the FNX-9 next week.

I paid $589 for it.
