Have to admit though that the Oh $&*#!!! Factor of the BIG gun in a BG's face can and does go a long ways yes sadly IL is a lame state. Then again barack was governor there so im not shocked. Alot of good gun lovin folks there though, yourself included WOC.

Nutnfancy (on youtube...do you know the guy?) has a term called a "Super-Carry gun." That is any gun that is so small/light/comfortable that you never feel the need to take it off. The LCP is firmly in that category.

I keep a Kahr P380 on my person most of the time. It is actually a hair smaller than the LCP, if you can believe that.

I wish I could actually fall asleep...

Okay. I'm coming to visit. I'll be there Friday and I'll be staying until the end of April. Thanks for the open invitation, Cane.

A Kahr P380, huh? I'll take a look but I have my heart set on a LCP.

Sleeping at night is very over rated. That is unless you have to go to work in the morning.

Winds, if you now have a complete AR lower, all you have to do is pick an upper and pop it on. These can ship to your door in most states, but with you being in sillynoise you might want to double check.

I generally would choose the same maker as the lower, you'll need to decide on what chambering, and the sights you want. I would probably lean towards iron sights, because it's what I know, and some of those red dots can get quite pricey.

Best of luck to you, and give us pics when it's done!

Hey Trip even in Illinois you can still have an upper shipped to your door, and it is a great feeling seeing that strange looking long and thin box sitting on your doorstep.

I'll bet that is a great feeling
I only made that comment because I know Illinois is more restrictive than MS.

Winds: Hopefully the lower will have an adjustable stock. If it does it will fit you fine. Savage does make a woman's hi power rifle now but any of the youth stocks should fit you. I always had to shorten the stocks for my wife's rifles. Shoot the LCP before you buy one as I dont find them pleasant to shoot.
