Weaver or Isosceles?
Which do you prefer and why?
Eta: Could a mod add a poll to this? I posted before I clicked on the 'add poll' button...
1. Weaver
2. Isosceles
3. Other

whichever form allows you to hit the target the best.

You can still add a poll. Just hit edit and advanced and add your poll.

this is a common one
but this is the one i use
if you think this guy is a joke:

On November 12, 1945, Life Magazine ran an unusual story. It was a photographic study of an FBI agent named Jelly Bryce drawing and firing his .357 Magnum in two-fifths of a second, faster than the human eye can follow. In the pictures Bryce dropped a silver dollar from shoulder height with his right hand then drew with the same hand and shot the coin before it reached his waist. What the article did not say was that Bryce could not only draw fast in front of a camera, but also in front of people who were trying to kill him. In fact, at that time, Bryce had already killed over 10 men in face-to-face shootouts as a city policeman and FBI Agent. In his era Bryce was undoubtedly the FBI's deadliest gun and may have been the best they ever had.

it goes back to my original point use what works for you

the weaver stance gives less target area in a life and death fight. as you are slightly turned.
The Isosceles you are facing the the target with both shoulders and feet pointed at it. This is giving the largest amount of skin for the opfor to shoot you with.
Again what ever works for you.
I prefer the weaver to a point.
Here is a picture of my son. He is shooting the way I prefer to shoot a pistol.

That there is how I also shoot. I tried to teach the wife to shoot in this manner but she is lets say "top heavy", so she does a modified version of this.
