Do you actually fill in those warranty sheets? Is it really the only way you get your warranty? Can you fill them out online?

I've got one that requires I send it in within 30 days of purchase. Lol well that so bad sailed! Lol

Yes, I always fill out my warranties online. It has saved me some headaches in the past.

I'm kind of wishing I had with a few. Is the whole "within 30 days" thing typical?

Yes I fill mine out and I am sure I put several rounds through the new gun to make sure everything is working correctly. And usually if there is something seriously wrong with the gun it will be evident. And you can get it repaired or replaced.
If you do not fill the card out and the gun should have a year or two warranty or you do not at least check it out by firing it you are on your own. And if it has a lifetime warranty and your purchase documents are not on file you may have a serious problem if you have problems.
Keep in mind even with a lifetime warranty it usually only covers defective parts and factory labor. It does not cover normal wear on parts and etc.

ive used stag and ruger for repairs, and replacment parts. both complied and footed the entire bill. never filled out any card. merely mentioned the exact purchase date of said firearm... maybe im just lucky.

I always fire them ASAP, guess that's why I've never bothered to fill one out. But I should! Issues aren't always evident with the first hundred or so rounds.
