Walther PPX

Anyone own one and shot one and care to comment?

It is butt ugly. I've owned walthers is the past. They all had the same issue. Magazine jams. Their mags suck. Would not look further.

I don't have a ton of experience with Walter but isn't the ppx DA only? It is ugly. For the price and I might go sig p250 or p229 for a DA only pistol. I like the ppq I don't think the set up of the ppx is optimal. Just my opinion. Ya never know until ya shoot it though

I've got a Beretta 92A1, PX 4 Compact, SA XD, Taurus 1911, Sig SP 2022, and a Bersa BP9cc. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Someone probably thinks one or all of these guns are ugly. They all shoot well and go bang every time. That's what is important.

I just want to hear from someone who has shot the PPX.

Thanks for the comments.

Got it today. Took it down, cleaned it, lubed it and took it to the range.

Shot both mags full at seven yards. All groups were two to three inches, most less than two inches.

As has been said the trigger is very smooth. Almost no break point. Take up and then bang. No hitches or stickiness, just smooth.

Very low recoil so second shots were spot on.

Feels great in my hand. I had several of my buddies shoot it and they all agreed with me - its ugly but feels good and is a sweet accurate weapon.

It AIN'T that ugly, but I think I would prefer a PPQ or even a P99---I like that paddle mag release---similar to my HKs...
